MEET DR. HUCK
An Indianapolis native, Chad E. Huck, O.D. has a storied, 40+ year career at The Eye Center of Southern Indiana as its clinic director. Dr. Huck came to Bloomington in 1977 to play quarterback for the Indiana University. He graduated from IU School of Optometry and is board certified. Dr. Huck helped develop a network of co-managing eye doctors in south-central Indiana, allowing patients from far away to benefit from state-of-the-art cataract surgery. He is passionate about getting to know each and every patient to earn their trust through their surgical journey.
Dr. Huck is an avid woodworker, golfer and Hoosier fan. His wife is Dr. Patricia Henderson, a clinical professor at the Indiana School of Optometry. Their son, Dr. Andrew Huck, joined The Eye Center in 2021 as a surgeon. Their daughter, Dr. Zibba Huck, is a dentist.
