Our team’s primary mission is to deliver the finest and most comprehensive eye care services available today. Our office works with you to streamline insurance processing and account handling to be as affordable as possible. For your convenience, we offer CareCredit as a financing option.
CareCredit is a company that provides patients with credit for their elective procedures, offering short-term, 0% interest payment plans and low-interest, extended payment plans. CareCredit has no up-front costs, no fees, and no pre-payment penalties.
Billing
The physicians at The Eye Center of Southern Indiana are contracted providers for many insurance companies, including traditional Medicare, Anthem BC/BS, and Indiana Medicaid.
If you have questions about using your insurance at this facility, please request a financial consultation prior to the onset of your examination. Ultimately, you are responsible for understanding your insurance coverage.
Co-payments are collected at the time of service. Patients who live out-of-state or who have no health insurance coverage are asked to pay for services as they are provided.
In accordance with Indiana law HEA 1004, a patient may ask for an estimate of the amount the patient will be charged for a nonemergency medical service provided in our facility. The law requires that an estimate be provided within 5 business days.
